Israeli Restaurant in Tokyo

Israeli Restaurant in Tokyo? Even though I'm familiar everything in Tokyo but I seldom heard of that.

"David's Deli" according to its Web Site, it is said that New York style Israeli Restaurant.However I've never been to New York and Israel.To be honest,I do not go down what Israeli Restaurant stands for?

During the period I traveled a lot when I was younger,I met many American Jewish and they were really kindly to me. Furthermore,Israel is a holy place for Jews as well as Christians and Muslims.First of all, I gonna have to try Israeli foods to understand about Israel.

Hummus has highly spiced strange taste that I've never experienced. When I tried one bite,I can see as if the people those who lives in the Middle East lives vividly in the harsh environment such a adust desert unlike Japanese people those who grow up in the land which has plentiful water and surrounded forest.

I want to try many kinds of Israeli dishes while drinking wine next time.

7,700 JPY Ski Tour

Let me explain about reasonable Ski Tour for JPY 7,700 this time.Take the Bullet Train which called Joetsu Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to EchigoYuzawa Station.Then,Go on a free shuttle Bus which running every 20 minutes from Echigo Yuzawa Station to Kandatsu Snow Resort that famous for heavy snow fall.
Enjoy Skiing or Snowboarding during a day time,Return to Tokyo the same day  along the same way.The package tour combined with round trip train fare and Lift ticket.

I applied its tour on the Internet.

However, There is no English page prepared so you gonna be struggle online booking.But there are View Plaza びゅうプラザ you can see near the JR Stations are same organization with online travel agency which I shown above.I'm not sure that  the travel agency suggest 7,700 JPY for you or not. but I guarantee you will be offered sufficient price.so please ask for its Ski Tour at View Plaza if you are interested.

Take the Joetsu-Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to EchigoYuzawa Station. No matter heavy snow fall,the Shinkansen always running on time.It takes approximately 80 minutes from Tokyo to EchigoYuzawa.

When you arrived at EchigoYuzawa Station,go through the ticket gate at West Exit
and take a look at 10 o'clock direction.Free shuttle bus to Kandatsu Snow Resort leaves from here every 20 minutes.I guess it's going to be cold outside so you should better go into a waiting room until comes the bus.

The Bus will be arrive at Kandatsu Snow Resort about 10 minutes.

Go into the building and get in line at the booths to give voucher for lift ticket.
Please return the lift ticket in the return box when you go home.

Change into ski wear in the locker room.You can use the locker for 500 JPY. Usable repeatedly without charge as long as the finish button is not pushed.The restaurants in the ski resort are expensive so I had bring my own lunch and drink put it in the locker until got hungry.

A building kept clean inside has any restaurants and gift shops.

EchigoYuzawa and the surrounding mountains are famous for heavy snowfall area.
Its probability of having clear skies are low but having heavy pile of new snow are high.Basically snow quality of these area are wet but it's going to be satisfied your desire for powder seeker.

The one way fare for the Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to EchigoYuzawa Station
is 6,260 JPY. One day lift ticket for Kandatsu Snow Resort is 4,700 JPY. The total
amount is 17,220 JPY which included round trip Shinkansen ticket.When I think
of that,Apparently 7,700 JPY tour is a good deal for the price.

Ski Tour which offered the Best price at Mt.Fuji

Do you know that you can skiing on Mt.Fuji? That place is not only the nearest ski resort from Tokyo but also earliest opens in Japan in mid to late October.The name of place is "Yeti".

I will introduce the cheapest way to go there.The price of tour is JPY 5,150 which combined round trip bus rides from Shin Matsuda Station to Yeti with one day lift ticket.

The train fare are not included.so you gonna have to get to Shin Matsuda by yourself. Take the Odakyu Line from Shinjuku Station to Shin Matsuda Station.It takes about one and half hours to get there and train fare is JPY 789 when you use IC card.

When you arrived at Shin Matsuda Station, get through a ticket gate at North Exit.and wait for the Bus at Bus stop NO.2.The Bus to the Yeti pick you up at 8:30. It takes about one hour to get to Yeti via Freeway.

Yeti is a small ski area on the southern slope of Mount Fuji.Its two main runs are each about 1,000 meters long. Basically its snow is artificial. but it opens in mid October.The first ski area to open in Japan every year.

The return bus to Shin Matsuda Station will leave Yeti at 4:45pm and you will be
back to Shin Matsuda Station about 6:05pm.

Regarding apply tour from web site,Unfortunately,there is not English edition prepared. so you are going to be struggle to booking as long as you are familiar in Japanese language. Further more,you need to be member ship of its travel agency before your booking.

When you booking a tour from here, The round trip Bus to Yeti leaves from Shinjuku. so you don't have to go to Shin Matsuda Station by yourself.Its package tour includes round trip bus fare to Yeti from Shinjuku,one day lift ticket and ski or snowboard rental equipment. I think its package tour fare is approximately JPY 11,000. If you are new comer in Japan and can afford to expense,I recommend to this way.

Gohyakurakan / Meguro Tokyo

Shoun Genkei(1648-1710) who was a Buddhist Priest also known as a Buddha Statue Sculptor thought of to make statue of Buddhist Saints. He saved up money while performed religious mendicancy in order to make statue of 560 Buddhist Saints by himself.Even now, 305 statue of Buddhist Saints are still preserved here.

Access:

Pass through the ticket gate at JR.Meguro Station and take a look at on your left. You can see the traffic light then take your turn right.Walking down the gentle downhill slope street.

Across a river and you can see the intersection where stands big shrine.Across the traffic light and then take your turn left.

You will see a FamilyMart and take a walk to the 2 o'clock direction.

You will find a Gohyakurakan Temple soon.It takes about 15 minutes from Meguro Station to Gohyakurakan Temple.

Pay admission fee at entrance booth and go into there.It opens 9 - 5.

It is said that Bakuo Statue eats bad dream and gives you a good dream. Formerly Bakuo Statue installed behind the principal image of the Buddha as a guard.

Admission fee is 500yen.However a large number of statue of Buddhist Saints
preserved inside of the buildings are overwhelmingly attractive and it's worth to paying money for that.This place is a museum rather than a temple.

A Shrine that blessed with children / Zushi Kanagawa

Morito Shrine,where standing by the seaside that surrounded by pine trees was established about 800 years ago.Current building was built about 400 years ago.so Morito Shrine is designated as a important cultural property.

Many married couple those who suffered from not having baby come to Morito Shrine to pray for birth of baby.

Access:
From Downtown Tokyo, take the JR Yokosuka Line to Zushi Station.
It takes about an hour from Tokyo Station to Zushi Station.
The train fare is 935yen.

From Zushi Station, go to the Bus Stop 3 and get on a Bus that indicated "逗12葉山行き"

Get off a Bus at Morito Jinja.
The riding time is approximately 11 minutes.
Ask Bus driver that I want to go to Morito Jinja.
