Zushi Beach / Zushi Kanagawa
Zushi Beach is a shallow and subsided waves that suited for sea bathing.The Beach houses are built there and is bustling during the July to August.

It takes about 10 minutes to get to Zushi Beach from Zushi Station.

Beach
Due to the spreaded of Cholera,100,000 of people passed away in Japan in 1886.It was said that Seawater shows a good sterilizing action and skin disease.When it comes to sunbathing,skin exposed to sunshine can also make vitamin D.
From such reasons,the government promoted that Zushi Beach is suitable for sea bathing and developed as a sea side resort.The railway was open for service in 1889,the summer houses was built since then.Many people came to visit Zushi Beach in the summer.

Hiroyama Park / Zushi Kanagawa
Hiroyama Park that located on the hill in Zushi Kanagawa. The view from this park is wonderful, you can see the Mt. Fuji well on a sunny day. After you enjoyed at the Hiroyama Park, Let's enjoy hiking to go down a hill to go to the seaside.
Access:
From JR Yokosuka Line Zushi Station, Wait for the bus for "鎌倉40鎌倉駅行き" at Bus stop No.7. The bus running every 20 minutes and arrive at Hiroyama approximately 7 minutes. If you don't understand Japanese language, stand near the bus driver and just say "Hiroyama". I guess the bus driver would be help you when the bus arrived at Hiroyama.
From the bus stop,take a walk like this arrow which I shown below. It takes about 15 minutes to get to Hiroyama park from the bus stop.
Hiroyama park stands on the 100 meters sea levels is the perfect scenic spot which surrounded by the sea and Mt.Fuji the highest mountain in Japan.
The viewing platform,flower bed and monkey park used to be the battery during the period of war time.
This rest house built on the Japanese army's building remained site.
The starting point for Hiking trails.
It was about 30 minutes to the seaside.
Let's go to the beach from here! From the beach to Zushi Station is in the walking distance so you don't have to go back to the Hiroyama Park.
