The National Museum of Nature and Science / Ueno, Tokyo


The National Museum of Nature and Science was established in 1877 which is one of the largest comprehensive science museums in Japan.

Hachiko is the most famous dog in Japan.
"Hachi: A Dog's Tale" that movie played the leading role by Richard Gere is a real story. The dog "Hachi" had been waiting for his master in front of Shibuya Station for ten years since 1925 after his master had passed away. Also, In front of Hachiko Statue is well known as meeting point.

Japan discovered 51 meteorities so far. Half of them are on displaying here.
