Tsukiji Hongan-ji Temple / Tsukiji, Tokyo


Tsukiji Hongan-ji Temple was built in 1617. It has burned and destoyed by earthquake many times. The present Ancient Indian buddhism structure was built in 1934.

Admission is free of charge.

The folding chairs has been prepared in the Temple, so you can relax at there.
You can take a tourist pamphlet that written Chinese, Korean and English. What a tourists friendly place it is. 



There are so many statue in the Temple, Would you like to find some statue?


Tsukiji Hongan-ji Temple, sometimes funeral was held for Japanese celebrity.
HIDE, was X-JAPAN's guitarlist passed away in 1998. However his big fan still
paid a visit to express their condolences.

Get there:
Take Subway Hibiya Line, get off a train at Tsukiji築地 station. 
And then, heading your way to Exit 1. It takes about one minute
to get to Tsukiji Hongan-ji Temple.
