Shibuya / Tokyo

Shibuya is the very exciting district with youth culture. Such a big town made up of young people is rare in the world. When you visit there, you would be overwhelmed what a energetic place in there.

Shibuya is a shooting location for the movie "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift". I recommend you watch that movie on DVD before you come to Shibuya to get excited your mind.

scramble crossing:
When the lights turn green at this busy crossing, they all turn green at the same time in every direction. Traffic stops completely and many pedestrians surge into the intersection from all sides.

Hachiko Statue:
"Hachi: A Dog's Tale" that movie played the leading role by Richard Gere is a real story. The dog "Hachi" had been waiting for his master in front of Shibuya Station for ten years since 1925 after his master had passed away.
Also, In front of Hachiko Statue is well known as meeting point.

Tourist information is right next door to Hachiko statue.
