Kannai / Yokohama

Get there:
Take Keihin Tohoku Line, get off at Kannai(関内) Station.

Yokohama Stadium:

Yokohama BayStars, a professional baseball team that based in Yokohama, Kanagawa has not been a strong and popular team. However Baystars distributed 720,000 of baseball caps for children those who lives in Kanagawa for free. Since then, DENA that is owner company of Baystars has not only improved their public image but also increased ticket sales at Yokohama stadium. At last, BayStars was able to move on to the conference final in 2016 season.

Isezakicho:

Isezakicho is a shopping street that has since a long time ago. Formerly, it used to be the main shopping street in Yokohama, but since built the giant shopping malls in Minato Mirai area, it has been declined its sales since that time. However, when it comes to the shopping, I recommend you purchase at Isezakisho because its prices are much cheaper than any other tourist area in Yokohama.

Affect of the places of gambling and night life district, Around of Isezakicho may not be safe but it would be OK as long as you walk along the main street. I think you would not involved in trouble though, you should not go on a back alley.
